RAG: Film Festival

RAG: Film Festival

Thursday 3rd May 2007

The third night of RAG week was a fantastic film festival that spanned three lecture theatres on Talbot Campus. The three themed theatres were chick flicks, all action heroes and the comedy club. 'Life of Brian' was the most popular film by far and lucky film goers were treated to popcorn, sweets and crisps in the lovely decked out surroundings. Donations on the night totalled £112.85 which brings the total so far to £403.78.
RAG: Pizza Eating Competition

RAG: Pizza Eating Competition

Tuesday 1st May 2007

The second day of the raucous RAG week was a mega-munch-out pizza eating competition in Dylan's.  31 big-bellied students battled it out to win a year's supply of Pizza Hut, ramming as much deep pan, cheese and tomato pizza in their mouth's as possible in three minutes.  The winner James managed to scoff 6 slices in the first round and a whopping four in the second in a mere 1-minute!  There were red faces, stuffed mouths and full bellies after but with a massive £168.05 raised it was a definite success!  Thanks to all the competitors who entered and the brilliant RAG crew who rounded them up ;o)
