The main job of SUBU is to represent you and make sure you are getting a fair deal in your University experience. There are many ways you can get your voice heard:
They are here to amplify your voice by representing your views to the University, the local media and community, the government and lots of other organisations.
|
Student Reps
The Students' Union runs the Student Rep system with BU, which ensures your feedback on your programme is heard, from teaching to timetabling and facilities.
|
Student Meetings |
|
The Students' Union has student meetings every term, to hear what you have to say and to achieve results for you. You control what is discussed (through submitting motions) and you can vote how you want your Union to represent you.
Students can also call emergency meetings if they want to be heard. |
Advice and Representation
The Advice and Representation Team are there to support and represent your individual needs. We can support and represent you if you have a complaint, if you wish to appeal, or in any meetings you may have with the University. We are here to encourage and support you to demand quality and accountability in the University, and all your other interactions.
