Neil Gallivan (SUBU Advice Supervisor)
I joined the SUBU Advice team in April 2015. Prior to this I was employed by Children and Young Peoples’ Social Care, primarily as a Personal Advisor with the Pathways Team advising and supporting young people leaving the care system. The role provided me with experience of guiding and working alongside a diverse group of young people in a broad range of settings. I have also worked alongside students who had been diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorders; this was during my role and an Assistant Team Manager in a residential college. I graduated with a degree in Fine Art and have a passion for traveling.

Hanna Coles (SUBU Advice Worker)
I have been at SUBU Advice since August 2015. Before joining SUBU I was a Sabbatical Officer at Canterbury Christ Church Students Union (Welfare & Education) which is what started my passion for giving advice and helping students in their journeys through the student experience. I am qualified CACHE level 3 diploma in child care and education and have a BA (Hons) in Primary Education. I have completed my Advisor Qualification with AdviceUK this year. I have worked in every level of education from nursery education to Higher Education. I really enjoy a housing enquiry or two! But supporting students in any way is my calling.

Sarah Tilley (SUBU Advice Worker)
I graduated from Sheffield University with BA (hons) in Social and Political Studies. After moving down to Bournemouth in 1996 I worked as a volunteer for Big Issue South West, a Support Worker at a Methadone Clinic and then managed a Drop-in centre for drug users supporting them towards recovery. I originally worked at SUBU Advice between 2006-2009. I left to work in Social Housing as a Housing Officer and Anti-Social Behaviour Officer. I returned to SUBU Advice in September 2016 and am very happy to be back.
I enjoy dealing with most queries, especially housing related and supporting students through Academic Offences panels.
