Welcome to the first ever SUBU Queer Eye Event!
LGBTQ+ Takes over the Student Centre with music, celebration and a space for everyone.

As part of LGBT+ History Month, SUBU will be opening the Student Centre up for everyone to for an event based on the hit TV show!
Covering fashion, grooming, mindfulness, food and design, there will be a range of workshops, stands and activities,
all available within a queer-inclusive safe space.

Guests from Dorset MIND will becoming down to run workshops, alongside Lush to offer tips and tricks on skincare and beauty.

FASHION
This is your chance to bring your unused clothes in, and swap them with others.
Find your style judgement-free with our all-inclusive swap shop.

GROOMING
Meet make-up artists and stylists who can offer tips and tricks to expressing yourself through the art form of hair and make-up.

MINDFULNESS
Need a quiet space?
There will be a chill-out zone with colouring pages away from the event where you can relax and regroup.
Dorset Mind will also be delivering workshops and offering advice on mental health as someone who identifies as LGBTQ+.

FOOD
Decorate cookies, make fruit kebabs and socialise with like-minded people as part of the food area of the event.
There will be recipe cards available for you to take away and try at home!

DESIGN
Looking for a way to spruce up your uni flat or house? Now's your opportunity!
The ground floor will include a variety of art and design pieces ready for you to take away and make your house a home.
