Postcards from the park – Kings Park As birds and animals migrate in search of food and safety so do people.

Join us in the park as we illustrate postcards with beautiful bird images using simple collage techniques.

Our theme is ‘welcome’ as we explore and think about the journeys made by wildlife and people across the globe and, sometimes, to our shores.

This is the chance to make a postcard for yourself and one to post with a message of hope and welcome to ‘Little Amal' - a giant puppet of a 9-year-old Syrian girl who is walking 5,000 miles from Turkey to the UK (walkwithamal.org).

Let's help make the world a greener and better place for everyone.

Meet outside the cafe (the old cricket pavilion), King's Park Drive, off Ashley Road, Boscombe, BH1 4NN

To find out more and book your place, please email peter@parksfoundation.org.uk

This event is organised by Bournemouth Parks Foundation and advertised by SUBU
