It is important to spot unfair treatment and know how to voice it as a black person in a workplace. We all know there is so much power in code-switching in our everyday life, but not all can do it and remain authentic in who they are. This event would give students going into a work field a great insight on healthy work-life balance as an individual.

Tola Oloyede is a distinguished Human Resources professional with over 20years experience in the energy industry. She is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) UK, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Lagos State University, a master’s degree in Organizational Performance from Cranfield School of Management, a degree in Psychology from the Institute of Education, London and has completed several executive leadership programs from top universities in UK and US. Tola works for a multinational organization and has vast experience developing best in class HR solutions across multiple geographies. She has held positions such as Head of Training and Development, Head of Talent Acquisition, Head of Mergers & Acquisition, Head of HR projects and currently HR Director Europe. Prior to her career transition to Human Resources, Tola spent 8 years working as an engineer in the Middle East and Africa.?
Tola is passionate about increasing the access to learning opportunities for people everywhere and this passion has given her the opportunity to be in significant roles in the education sector in UK. She is a board member at Bournemouth University, a leading university in the UK and she sits on the Finance and Resources committee. She brings to the board an excellent blend of strategic and operational experience. Tola is also a visiting lecturer at the prestigious Surrey University Business School, UK, where she shares her wealth of experience with students and lecturers to support the fusion of theory and practice.

Kwilole - Account Director, Ashfield MedComms
Kwilole is a 2013 Bournemouth University Public Relations graduate, currently working as an account director at Ashfield MedComms, an Ashfield Health company. She is also the 2021 winner of the Bournemouth University Alumni of the year - Enriching Society Award.
In her spare time, Kwilole is Chairperson for Funsani, an NGO that provides a home for children orphaned to HIV in Kitwe, Zambia. Her work with the charity has enabled her to work with HIV communities in Zambia for over 10 years.

Dingile is a publicist, who since graduating at Bournemouth University, has worked with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.
