Join us for a Hike along the South West coast path between Dancing Ledge and Durlston, while enjoying the stunning scenery and learning about the sea birds that call the cliffs their home!
We will be setting off from campus at 15:30 on 15th May heading to Dancing Ledge before walking the South West Coast path to Durlston which holds one of the largest populations of Guillemot in the UK before walking back to Dancing Ledge in the hope of seeing a Puffin or two from the South Coasts only population of breeding Puffins. We hope to be back on campus for 11pm.
If you would like to be collected from Lansdowne please message the Wildlife Conservation Society otherwise collection will be at 1530 from behind the SUBU building on Talbot Campus.
Please bring with suitable/ comfortable footware for walking, a packed dinner, binoculars (we have spare pairs to share around if you don't have any)
Please note: This event this event is weather dependent so please check your student email both the day before and on the day for updates on the trip. Please also bare in mind that this trip has difficult walking conditions and is unfortunately not suitable to all.
