The Calm Zone is open every day of Weeks One & Two between 9:00 and 17:00. All too much? Sensory overload? Feeling anxious? Need a safe haven? Take time out, spin out, spin off and visit The Calm Zone.

The location is quiet and discrete whilst still being in the main area of university. Help complete jigsaw puzzles, do some mindful colouring-in or use the gadgets and cubes. One student even created a Lego masterpiece during her visit.  Here’s what previous students say:

“It was very calming to have an opportunity to relax emotionally – just sitting and playing cards enabled me to de-stress.”
“I feel so much better; I can go back out there now.”
“Why can’t we have this all of the time?”
