Executive Committee Elections 2017

Executive Committee is the second highest decision-making body of the Students’ Union (the Big Student Meeting being the highest). The Executive Committee looks at the day-to-day affairs of the Union; implements Union Policy made at Big Student Meetings; decides policy on matters which haven’t gone to a Big Student Meeting and ensures that the Union addresses national student issues. Being a Part-time Executive Officer is roughly 5-6 hours of voluntary time a week. There are 10 roles being elected (Executive Officers) who are non –aligned. The Full-Time Officers also sit on the Executive Committee, as Full-Time Executive Officers. See the roles and role descriptions below.
