The Big Student Meeting is your opportunity to discuss, debate and vote on the issues that really matter at SUBU and BU. It's your chance to have a real impact on your experience at university and play an active role in leading change.

They’ll be free Pizza and you’ll be able to find out what your Full-Time and Part-Time Officers have been up to this term. This is your opportunity to hold your SU leadership to account!
So, what will we be debating?
- Do you want SUBU to lobby the university to make sure that lecturers upload content to Brightspace before lectures?
- Do you have days or sessions which are too long and prevent you from learning properly?
- Do you want more funding for your club or society, particularly where it would give you a qualification for after uni?
- Do you think smoking should be fully banned on campus… or not?
- Should SUBU give all students a free reusable cup and not serve people without one?
- Do you think there should be more water fountains on campus?
- Do you want to see more green/environmentally friendly art on campus?
- Do you want better loo roll at BU?
If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions be sure to come along to the Big Student Meeting... OR if you disagree come along and make your voice heard!
This can’t happen without you, so come and vote on the things that students at BU care about!
