Myth: The elections are just a popularity contest
The candidates who win the election aren't always the ones who are members of every sports team, or even ones wit the most friends. Instead it's the candidates who have a strong manifesto and those who put in the face time during the campaigning period, by getting out and talking to students, having engaging campaigns and attending election events. So it's more likely that the person whoputs the most energy into the campaigning process will win.
