Myth: You don't get paid to be a Full-Time Officer
Full-Time Officer roles are full-time paid jobs. You'll work Monday to Friday 9-5, but what you'll be doing will vary dramatically, from attending board meetings, reading papers, sitting on university panels organising and running your own campaigns, getting out and talking to students and lobbying the university for change.
You'll also receive £21,815 a year alongside 24 days holiday (+ bnak holidays and 3.5 days off over Christmas) and a pension scheme!
