Slade’s farm is a park located right near the university at Talbot Campus (just beyond the woods that you see on the bus!!) and has a community garden, we are looking for volunteers to attend bi-weekly sessions to help in light gardening work.
The type of work we might be doing may include, removing brambles, removing weeds, planting trees, repairing damaged fences, repairing pathways, cutting shrubbery, cleaning/ maintaining the pond and planting flowers.
