Antoine Semenyo is set to play his final game for AFC Bournemouth on Wednesday night as the Cherries host Tottenham Hotspur.
The Ghanaian has a medical booked for Thursday to complete his move to Manchester City.
Andoni Iraola confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Semenyo would play against Tottenham; giving the Cherries fans a chance to see him one last time in a Bournemouth shirt.
The Cherries are coming into this game off the back of a 3-2 defeat to league leaders Arsenal in what was an improved performance.
Tottenham were held by Sunderland after Brian Brobbey netted a late equaliser for the Black Cats.
In the reverse fixture this season, Iraola’s side dominated in a 1-0 victory where the Cherries had twenty shots to Tottenham’s five.
Iraola regards it as his side’s best performance of the season and will look for it to be replicated on Wednesday night.
In regard to Spurs, Iraola said: “I think Tottenham are a very good team. Very well coached.
“They have players who deliver very, very quality crosses, good finishes. Good number nines.
“We know how much it takes to just win one point in the Premier League. So, we have to give everything we have.”
It was revealed on Tuesday that Justin Kluivert is due for surgery on a knee injury that the Dutchman sustained against Arsenal.
It’s a problem that Iraola has said will push the club further into the mark to find more signings.
Apart from Kluivert’s injury, there are no other injury concerns since the Cherries played Arsenal.
Here is how we think the Cherries will lineup on Wednesday night:
