SUBU Summit Policies Passed

Before Easter, our student representatives took part in the annual SUBU Summit. This was a chance for them to discuss and debate student ideas, hold the Full-Time Officers to account and oversee the work of the Students’ Union.  

All students were invited to attend to support their peers and speak up on issues that matter to them. Our student representatives then voted on which polices they’d like to pass.  

We’re pleased to announce the following policies have been passed; 

• SUBU to lobby BU to add university bus routes that cover travel to Talbot campus from more suburban locations 

• SUBU to lobby to BU increase the development for sporting facilities at the university 

• SUBU to lobby BU for lecture and seminar resources to be made available 1 week in advance 

Our Full-Time Officers will work with the Students’ Union to ensure these policies are implemented across the university.
