With voting week now here, it’s time to start thinking about the changes you want see at your Students’ Union and BU.

There are four Full-Time Officer roles and five NUS Delegate roles that need your votes:

  • SU President
  • Vice-President Education
  • Vice-President Student Opportunities
  • Vice-President Welfare & Community
  • ...plus five NUS Delegates

The Full-Time Officers lead your Students’ Union and represent you; they have the power to make big changes for students so it’s important that you vote this week and make your voice heard, with voting closing at 4pm on Friday 15th March

To help you make your decision, in addition to their manifestos and campaigning, there are introductory videos available both on the SUBU website and on our YouTube channel

These resources will allow you to get to know the candidates better and find out what they want to change at BU and whether their views align with yours, ultimately helping you make an informed decision on who you will be voting for

You’ll be able to cast your vote in person at both Talbot and Lansdowne Campus between Monday 11th March and Friday 15th March, from 10am and 4pm, and we have some surprises planned for those who do. If you can’t make it to either campus that week (or you’re based on another BU campus), online voting will be open Monday to Thursday between 4pm and 8pm via the SUBU website.Make sure you keep an eye on our social media channels @sububournemouth for our candidate campaign videos.

Make sure to cast your vote and make your voice heard. To vote online or read our candidate manifestos, visit subu.org.uk/elections
