BU Freshers is Bournemouth University’s official Freshers events programme, organised by us - your Students’ Union.
We bring together a packed programme of events and activities across campus and around Bournemouth. Expect nights out at your student nightclub, The Old Fire Station, socials at Dylan’s Kitchen & Bar, free events on campus, and our award-winning Freshers Fair – there’s plenty for you to get involved in!
Your BU Freshers wristband
If you’re joining BU as a first-year student, you’ll receive a BU Freshers wristband in the post after A Level Results Day. Think of it as your free pass to Freshers.
Your wristband gives you access to discounted events at The Old Fire Station, free events on campus and exclusive offers during your first two weeks at BU.
Once you receive your wristband, activate it at bufreshers.co.uk so you can access your discounted tickets and start booking your events.
Not a first year student? You can still join in! BU Freshers events are open to BU and AUB students, including returning students. You just won’t receive a BU Freshers wristband, as these are exclusive to first year BU students.
