Summer Ball FAQs

What is SUBU Summer Ball?

SUBU Summer Ball is our biggest event of the year – a 12-hour festival celebrating the end of the academic year.

Expect multiple stages of music, DJs, entertainment, food, bars, funfair rides and plenty more across the day and night.

The main event runs from 2pm until 2am, with the After Party and legendary Survivors Photo keeping things going into the early hours.

Where is SUBU Summer Ball?

The Summer Ball takes place at Chapel Gate, Bournemouth University’s Sports Ground.

Your ticket includes return bus transport, with buses running from The Old Fire Station to the event and back again after the festival.

Who can come to SUBU Summer Ball?

SUBU's Summer Ball is open to BU and AUB students and their guests.

You can bring up to three non-student guests with you. Everyone needs their own ticket, and guest tickets need to match the ticket type bought by the student bringing them.

Remember to bring your student ID if you're a BU or AUB student.

What does my ticket include?
