Nerve Media is SUBU’s student-led media network, bringing together radio, TV, online, photography and sport.

It’s a place to get creative, try something new, meet people and get real experience while you’re at BU. Whether you want to be behind the mic, in front of the camera, behind the lens or writing the next big story, there’s a place for you within our Nerve Media outlets.

No experience? No problem. You’ll get the training and support you need to get involved, build your skills and create something you’re proud of.

Nerve Radio

Fancy hosting your own radio show? Love music, podcasts, entertainment or just having a chat? Nerve Radio gives you the chance to get on air, create your own show and find your voice.

You’ll get training in presenting, production and radio, with opportunities to interview artists and local organisations, get involved in live broadcasts and even take part in FM broadcasts.

Nerve TV

Nerve TV creates student-led video content covering everything from entertainment and events to news and sport.

Get involved on screen or behind the scenes as a presenter, reporter, camera operator, editor, sound technician or whatever role takes your interest. You’ll get hands-on experience with the equipment and support to develop your skills.
