In April, we shine a spotlight on the cultures, heritages and history of Asian, Arab and other ethnic communities. Since there isn’t a single month that covers all of this in the UK, we’ve made April our time to celebrate this rich diversity across our student community.

Women's History Month is celebrated in March and highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society especially the most marginalised groups of women; black women, women of colour, disabled women and trans women.

Transgender Awareness Week is a time for transgender people and their allies to take action and bring attention to the community by educating the public and advancing advocacy around the issues of prejudice, discrimination, and violence that transgender people face.
