Across five floors, you’ll find SUBU services, student communities, Ground Up Cafe, spaces to study and plenty of opportunities to meet other students.

Support when you need it
Whatever’s going on, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Our advice service is here to help with the things that can come up during university life. You can also find spaces that celebrate and support our diverse student communities, including our Liberation Lounge.
Find somewhere to study
Need somewhere to get your head down? We’ve got you covered.
There’s study space on every floor of the SUBU building, from quieter spots to open spaces where you can work with others. Find a space that works for you, settle in and get stuff done.
You’ll also find the study beach huts and a bridge on the third floor, connecting The Student Centre to the Library.
Eat, drink and hang out
Need a coffee break? Meet up with friends at Ground Up Cafe on the ground floor, grab a Starbucks and something to eat and take some time away from your studies.
You can also use the Community Kitchen on the second floor to cook, eat and connect with other students.
The home of Nerve Media
On the fourth floor, you’ll find the Nerve Radio studios, where students broadcast a variety of shows live throughout the year.
And you don’t have to be on the fourth floor to tune in. Wherever you’re sitting in The Student Centre, you’ll hear Nerve Radio playing throughout the building.
