Pongal is a four-day Tamil harvest festival celebrated in January to thank the Sun God, nature and farmers for a successful harvest. It symbolises gratitude, posperity and new-begginings and is marked by cooking the sweet dish Pongal, decorating homes with kolam and celebratng with family and community. In our event, we will have games, Pongal and other snacks and drinks as we all come together and celebrate this meaningful event.
