We provide annual and ongoing training and development opportunities for all SUBU Club and Society Committee members to ensure you make the most of your time in post.
Each Academic year, the Student Opportunities team host a training event designed to get your Committee up to speed on the things you need to know to host meaningful activities for your members. This year's "Committee Conference" training is open to all first-time SUBU Clubs, Socieites committee members.
Committee Conference 2026 will take place on Friday 18th September 2026.
All Committee members who have already served on a Committee will receive a notification from TalentLMS our online training platform, notifying you that you have been assigned to a learning path. This learning path covers your core training, updates to the Clubs and Societies service and information related to activities in September (including Freshers Fair).
You must complete this training by 02/10/2026 or risk being removed from your role on Committee.
