Society Socials – Events ranging from pub quizzes to games nights, pub golf to wellbeing events, competitions to karaoke – a chance to meet new people who are interested in Psychology and allow you to bond with your course mates. We also host very successful fundraising events for mental health charities with us raising £160 for Dorset Mind 2024. We often collaborate with other SUBU Societies giving you a chance to meet new people and try something new.
Psychology Academic & Career Events – As an academic society we provide extracurricular opportunities to boost your course performance and career prospects. We have guest speakers in Psychology come in and discuss their careers & research to help you learn more about different areas of Psychology – ranging from Clinical Psychologists, Forensic Psychologists, Cyber Psychologists, Education Psychologists and more. As well as alumni to discuss their placements and university experiences.
