For many people, one of the best parts of being a student is the nightlife, and Bournemouth does not disappoint. Going out is not only a great way of socialising and meeting new people, but also a way of having fun and stepping away from the stresses of university for the night. Here is where you can party each day of the week in Bournemouth – who said going out is only for the weekend?!

Halo Mondays

There is no better way to start the week than going to Halo’s student nights. Halo is a converted church in the centre of town with the perfect atmosphere to party. Tickets are available on Fatsoma.

Toast Tuesday

Held in Revolution, Toast Tuesday is a popular choice for students. There’s toast available all night, a photo booth and great music. What’s not to love? Tickets are available on Fatsoma and often sell out quickly.

Wyld Wednesdays at Cameo

This is a big event held every Wednesday at Cameo. This is also a popular choice for students because it’s where lots of societies and sports clubs go. There are 3 different rooms with different music in each one, so there is something for everyone! Tickets are available on FIXR and on Cameo’s website.

Thursday – Suddenly Funk

Held at The Old Fire Station, Suddenly Funk is a fun event with a different theme each time. The next Suddenly Funk event is I’m an 80s Baby on 24th March and it is not one to be missed. Please note this is not every Thursday, however there are plenty of bars in Bournemouth open every Thursday.

Friday Lollipop

Also held at The Old Firestation, Lollipop is an exclusive student event, meaning it’s the perfect way of meeting other students. All students can bring up to 2 non student guests, who will also need to buy tickets. Tickets are available on The Old Fire Station Website.

Saturday - anywhere!

On saturday nights most places are busy but bare in mind you won't find cheap student deals on drinks like you will during the week! But keep an eye out for special performances at The Old fire Station such as SHY FX on Saturday 12th March!.

Snakebite Sunday

Snakebite Sundays are held weekly at Walkabout and are best known for their cheap snakebite drinks (£2!). This is a great way to end a stressful week, even if it does mean starting the next week hungover! Tickets are available on Fatsoma.
