We are delighted to announce the shortlist for this year’s SUBU Awards.

The student-focused awards, hosted by the Students’ Union at Bournemouth University (SUBU), will recognise and thank those students who have had the biggest impact within the Students’ Union and made an outstanding contribution to enhance the student experience at Bournemouth University (BU).

The awards received nominations from university staff, students and external partners. There are thirteen awards up for grabs, with finalists commended for their contributions to the Students’ Union and the significant difference they have each made to university life.

Fiifi Asafu-Adjaye, VP Student Opportunities at SUBU, said: “We’re incredibly proud of the students who have been shortlisted for this year’s SUBU Awards. Every single one of them have gone above and beyond to make a positive impact, and they all rightly deserve this recognition.

“We received over 200 nominations from both students and staff at the university, and it was an incredibly difficult decision to whittle them all down! Good luck to everyone who has been shortlisted, and we look forward to announcing the winners on the night”.

Winners will be unveiled during a ceremony on Thursday 11th May at Key West, Bournemouth Pier.

Tickets will be available for students to reserve from Monday 24th April. To reserve your space, visit subu.org.uk/awards.
