Hi everyone! My name is Tina and I’m a current Health & Safety officer for WiSTEM and today I'm nominating myself for the President role. My placement has helped me build my confidence levels to take on numerous challenges. Owning projects has also helped me develop my leadership and critical thinking skills. Apart from my skills, I’m passionate about strengthening WiSTEM and creating more opportunities for our members to gain insight into different STEM fields and meet like-minded people. Some of the things I’m hoping to re-introduce for the next academic year are site tours, day trips, career events and many more.
