This years Freshers' Fair is taking place Saturday 26th September 2020 10am till 3pm,and will bring your arrivals week to a climax!
Freshers Fair is FREE to attend for all BU & AUB Students - just turn up! Taking place across Talbot Campus, in the Courtyard, Student Centre, Kimmeridge House and Poole House, with over 300 exhibitors that can't wait to meet you!
The fair opens 10am to 11am for students with accessibility requirements - where music will be kept to a low level.
What is Freshers Fair?
The SUBU Freshers Fair is a HUGE exhibition that is free to attend for ALL BU students. This is your chance to talk to 100's of SUBU Clubs and Societies, over 60 SportsBU teams and find out about numerous volunteering and fundraising opportunities that are available to you to take part in alongside your studies. This is a great way to get more out of your time at BU!
There will also be a collection of over 80 local and national businesses, fused together with live entertainment, sports demos, music, food and drink! There are absolutely loads of freebies and discounts that you can collect, so make sure you don't miss out!

All the Freshers' Fair bookings for the many SUBU clubs and societies are being organised by our SUBU Student Opportunities team, please contact them and they will help you organise your pitch. The earlier you put your request in then the better your location will be! This year our SUBU clubs and societies exhibitors will take over the Student Centre.

Did you know...? Our Freshers Fairs are officially the best in the country!
BAM Marketing Agency toured 20 Freshers Fairs across the UK from Scotland to the South coast, surveying thousands of students and hundreds of stallholders to compile the most detailed research forming a Top 20 Freshers Fairs in the country. SUBU are proud to be at the top of this list for three years in succession since wining it in 2016. Each year SUBU were measured against some other great Students' Unions and Universities across the country so represents a great achievement. Getting to Freshers Fair
SUBU has laid-on a free bus service to help you get to Freshers’ Fair at Talbot Campus. Just so you know though, there are limited buses so if you find yourself in a long queue getting frustrated waiting then you could consider the greenest option and take a walk with your friends, it’s about 2 miles from Lansdowne to Talbot.
