I have found community within Film Society. It is always an anchor point in my week as a guaranteed event to look forward to. However, as a society I have found we restrict ourselves socially by only hosting viewings I want to continue to nurture film soc into this reliable event per week, but with some new features. I believe a more extensive variety of film-related community events throughout the year where we encourage conversations with people we’ve met through the society could really benefit networking within our society.
