But on a more serious note, the surf society is really important to me and it's a real second family. I want to use the communications role to elevate the promotional content and attract more members. My University degree in Media and Communications, 1 year placement in digital marketing and prior social media management skills would allow me to add value and make a real impact.
My goals within the position would be to
- Keep members continuously informed on future events and post weekly high quality content from socials.
- Promote the club through a range of social media platforms and create accounts on Tiktoc and Youtube
- Create a sense of community through the platforms and create a welcoming environment
- Have monthly/weekly themes across the social media content on the pages that are reflective of the socials
- Continue to improve the content and engagement and be open to hearing other members ideas of what they want to see being posted
