I want to run for the role of Women's Officer because I want women to be involved and feel recognised by the university. My aim is to organise events where women from different industries can come in and talk about their experiences and tips for getting into their field of work. I intend to promote the concept of free sanitary products on campus, especially due to the cost-of-living crisis. Finally, I would like to advocate for women to volunteer in the community by promoting links to schools, so women can talk and inspire young girls to study at the university.
