My first year on BUDS has made my university experience and I would love to be more involved in the society in my second year by being a member of committee. It’s been brilliant to make some of the best friends and create long lasting memories whilst pursuing a sport I love. I feel secretary is the ideal role for me as I would love to enhance the BUDS social media pages to engage with our audience and promote the society and its dancers.
I feel I am well suited to the role of secretary as I am a confident, capable individual who takes initiative, communicates openly and with ease, and is proactive. I am doing an English degree and my skillset is therefore equipped with quality written and oral communication and the ability to connect with multiple audiences. In my personal life, I have always engaged confidently and creatively with social media and would thrive running the BUDS social media pages – ensuring they represent the society. As a dedicated member of BUDS, I am certain I would pour 100% into the role!
