I am a Forensic Biology student who aspires to be much more involved within the WISTEM society as I approach second year. To be Health and Safety Officer would be an incredible opportunity. Any task I take on, I approach with full commitment and I am hugely eager to be able to contribute toward the society that has already helped me in so many ways.
I am dedicated, which I would reflect consistently, sociable and always open to new experiences.
As Health and Safety Officer I'd find such joy in ensuring everyone is safe and I'd commit myself to creating experiences for everyone that're as enjoyable and risk-free as possible. I held a similar leadership role in college, as leader of the Environmental Health Club - where I'd manage the changes made to the gardens to minimise the damage to the environment and ensure the safety of the students.
I'd listen to each individual. For those who require additional support, e.g. ailments/ disabilities, I'd make effort to ensure plans are made so trips are as accessible and low-risk as possible.
