Maybe the real treasure was the friends we made along the way
After a year in the role of Treasurer for the Iris LGBTQ+ Society, I am campaigning to be re-elected for 2023/24!
As Treasurer this year, I have ensured that the society stayed in a positive bank balance, as well as making sure our ticketed events like Queermas have been subsidised for society members. I would like to continue to make sure Iris events remain either free or low-cost for our members, to allow as many people as possible to access them.
I would also sensibly balance allocating funds between events and new equipment/games throughout the next academic year.
