I’m Tara and I am so excited to put myself forward for BUDS presidency. From a shy fresh to a confident second year, BUDS has given me lifelong friends. Being S&C coach, I've grasped the responsibility with both hands, and thoroughly enjoyed being able to make the role my own! Seeing the positive responses, to S&C this year has been so fulfilling. I'm an organised and determined individual who will work hard. My passion for BUDS is huge and have new aims that will continue to develop it further!
As President, I aim to:
1. Collaborate with Sport BU for equal opportunities: part/full scholarships and an incorporation of technique with professional S&C.
2. Ensure inclusivity, supporting all members regardless of background or ability, so no member is left alone.
3. Introduce 1-2 NEW teams for further development of talent.
4. Work on brand collaborations & sponsors like Tenzing for funding.
I would love to be one of your presidents next year and give back, as BUDS has done a lot for me this year. I really hope you consider voting for me and my ideas for BUDS next year!!
