Hi, I'm Elm (they/them). Being trans at BU is definitely an uphill battle compared to other unis, and here are a few of the ideas I have to combat some of the common issues faced.
-It's nearly impossible to get your preferred name on your student ID, and I'd work with BU to make it easier for this to happen.
-I want to create an easily accessible forum or discord server for trans students to interact and connect.
-Only three buildings on campus have gender neutral toilets, and so I'd lobby BU to be more inclusive in their buildings.
