Hi Law Society, my name is Scarlett.
I came into law from a creative background, where I ran clubs and events. I can’t imagine being anywhere other than BU Law, and I want to support our society.
As your President, I would implement -
- Volunteering - beach cleans, fundraisers - a wonderful way to build experience for a future career, socialise and help the community.
- Regular socials - court trial visits, friendly movie/quiz nights, events with other societies and monthly rotas of events, society feedback.
- Input with local firms and professionals - building life-long connections, networking skills and an understanding of legal careers.
