Hello, I’m Olutayo Tunde-Awe a student at the Faculty of Science and Technology.

I’m running for the post of Black Students’ Officer. I am passionate about the welfare of the black community and my manifesto is centered around four key ideas that will see us RISE.

If elected, I will ensure:

  • Representation of the black community by celebrating our diversity and ensuring our voice matters.
  • Inclusion and advocacy for policies that promote inclusivity in education, leadership and decision-making.
  • Solidarity by creating support networks to uplift one another.
  • Empowerment by promoting and encouraging participation in educational opportunities, and workshops.
