Today we're going to be making and decorating gingerbread people. You will need:

  • 350g plain flour
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon 
  • 125g butter
  • 175g soft light brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tbsp golden syrup
  • 125g icing sugar
  • Sweets of your choice to decorate
