Join us for an over night stay at the new nature outreach centre in the heart of the new forest called Cameron's Cottage. We will be staying overnight and using the opportunity to step outside the front door and listen to the dawn chorus at the time of year when bird song is at its loudest and most vibrant.
We will be staying in a cottage that has shared dormatories and will be able to step outside the front door the following morning before returning back to the centre to cook breakfast.
We will be heading out in search of some of britian's best songsters from your local garden species to our summer visitors.
We have up to 15 spaces on this trip and it will be garenteed to be a nice relaxing trip in the company of nature with some stunning scenery and bird song on offer.
We will be meeting on campus at 6pm on Saturday 30th April and we will be returning at around 1pm on the 1st May.
There will be a small fee for members in order to cover the cost of the food for breakfast. Please bring your own packed dinner, a sleeping bag, and all the essientials for an overnight stay, as well as outdoor clothing and walking boots for the morning when we are able to explore the site.
There will be the use of the kitchen while we are at the cottage.
Ticket prices are as follows:
