Who We Are & What We Do:

Hello, we are the Bournemouth Jewish Society (JSOC).

We are a completely non-political society, that organise a variety of casual social events for Jewish students in the Bournemouth area. Previously this has included Friday night dinners, baking events, pub nights, and pottery painting.

We also collaborate with the local Southampton and Portsmouth JSOCs to run events across the south coast - including the annual masquerade ball at Southampton.

As a society we are also very lucky to have a very supportive wider community, and we have a very close relationship with Chabad Bournemouth, who we run numerous events with throughout the year!

Our aim is to provide all Jewish students with a fun and welcoming community that they can feel they belong to, no matter their level of observance.
