Welcome!

Hello there, you have done well to get this far! I am Oliver, I am the President of the Magic The Gathering here at Bournemouth University. Our end goal as a society is to make Magic The Gathering more accessible for Students in BU and AUB. Come join our diverse and friendly society, whether you are a beginner in Magic with 0 experience, or if you have been playing for years.

Feel free to attend one of our Magic Mondays to get a feel of what the society is like, and if you want to gain access to Deck Building tutoring, events and tournaments sign up, it's a one-off membership fee of £10, like I say our goal is to make Magic The Gathering as accessible as possible for everyone!

What do we do?

Every Monday, we run a games night to play any format, pairing you up with people of the same experience, giving you the opportunity to seek out a challenge or have a chilled laid-back game.

Once per semester we will be running a Drafts Competition, you will walk away with a guaranteed deck of your own, with opportunities to win prizes and gain more experience playing! Not to mention, the opportunity to meet like-minded people who love Magic The Gathering as much as you do.

We will also be running Various member only events from time to time, based on demand and participation.

When and Where?

Monday nights at 1800 on Talbot campus in Poole House, room P218.

Thursdays nights at 1800 on Talbot campus in Poole House, room P426.

Monday and Thursday nights are Commander centric but you are welcome to come and play other formats but most members attending will be playing Commander.
