Black History Month is celebrated every October in the UK, and is an opportunity to recognise, celebrate and raise awareness of the incredible events, monumental changes, and work completed by Black communities around the world. It is also a time to focus on the hardships still faced by Black people, and the work that needs to continue to make sure everyone is treated equally.
At SUBU, we are constantly looking for new ways to celebrate BHM, and your

and Black Student’s Officers have worked tirelessly over the years to organise some amazing events including workshops, panel discussions and safe spaces for people to educate, inform and debate.
