Mental Health Week is all about giving yourself permission to slow down, reflect, and find simple methods to improve your well-being. Whether you participate in relaxing yoga, a massage, or simply take a quiet moment for yourself, these activities are there to help you recharge and feel grounded.

Here's our top SUBU mental health tips

  • Tune in to your bodyShort, regular breaks can help you avoid burnout. When you start feeling tired or overwhelmed, it’s a signal to pause.

  • Keep in touch - A brief conversation with a friend, course mate, or staff member can lift your spirits more than you’d think.

  • Move in ways that feel goodGentle activities like stretching, walking, or yoga can ease stress and sharpen your concentration.

  • Practice self loveAllowing yourself to rest is important and valid.

  • Reach out when things feel heavyAsking for help is a sign of courage, and there are plenty of support services like SUBU Advice ready to listen.

Relax and reset
