Lead the promotion of the TEDx event across external press channels.
A major aim of TEDx organised by the Vice President Student Opportunities is putting Bournemouth University on the Map.
This would require having press officers write and share story of the event and the brilliance of students involved in this projects for external press channels.
Responsibilities would include developing press kits, news coverage, and liaising with news media (eg Bournemouth Echo, Dorset Eye, Itv, etc) on TEDx
Ideal for students interested in marketing or communications.
Tasks may include caption writing, content creation, proofreading, scheduling posts, and assisting with promotional campaigns.

TEDx Press Officers would gain hands-on experience in public relations, news coverage, and audience engagement. Volunteers strengthen their communication and branding skills, build a strong portfolio, and collaborate with a diverse team of creative professionals.
