The Event Assistant will support the execution of TEDx organised by the Student Union VP Opportunities. The assistant will help ensure the smooth running of the event and contribute to its success.
Event Assistants support the execution of the TEDx event. Their responsibilities include event set-up, audience coordination, ushering, backstage support, catering and hospitality and post-event pack-down. They also help source and coordinate event materials, manage venue requirements, and provide logistical and administrative support throughout the event.
This role is ideal for students seeking hands-on experience in event management, operations, and coordination.
This role has a time commitment expectation of 1 hour weekly meetings and 5 hours on the event day (includes 3-hour event participation).
