The purpose of this role is to assist in the day to day running of a
retail charity shop for Lewis-Manning Hospice Care located in Ferndown.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A VOLUNTARY, UNPAID POSITION
Our charity shops simply couldn’t run without the amazing support of volunteers, and we’re currently looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to join the team at our Boscombe East shop.
If you have a few hours to spare and would like to help make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you!
What you might be helping with:
- Sorting and preparing donated items
- Steaming and sizing clothing ready for the shop floor
- Serving customers on the till
- Keeping the shop floor and back-of-shop areas clean and tidy
- Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries
- Some light movement and lifting will be involved
When we’re open:
- Monday to Saturday: 9am – 5pm
- Sunday: 10am – 4pm

Regular reviews will take place and an opportunity given for peer support through networking events with other Lewis-Manning Hospice Care volunteers.
