The role involves maintaining the memorial garden at Dorset Police Force Headquarters. Duties include: - weeding & leaf collection; - removal of garden waste to central on-site location; - removal & replacement of dead plants; - watering during extremely dry weather; - raking of gravel to remove self-seeded grass and weeds; - cutting back ornamental grass twice annually; - annual topping up of mulch / bark to prevent weed growth.
