General Advice Volunteer

Do you have experience giving general advice and want to use your skills to make a real difference? Are you passionate about supporting asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants as they navigate housing, benefits, and everyday challenges? If so, we’d love to hear from you! We are looking for experienced, confident generalist advisers to volunteer with our Advice Team. This role is best suited to those who already have a background in advice work, as we’re not able to provide full training but you’ll have ongoing support from our friendly and experienced team. We are looking for someone who can ideally work on a Wednesday, with flexible hours between 10 - 3pm.

We are looking for an experienced, committed and caring volunteer to join our advice team and support service users by offering general guidance in areas such as housing, benefits, utilities, and other everyday challenges. This will have a big impact on the support we can offer in such a demanding environment and will also provide you with opportunity to grow in your skills!
