Run Bournemouth Festival October 2026 - Event Team Volunteers

The Run Bournemouth event will take place over the weekend of the 10th and 11th October 2026, and will see thousands of participants taking part in events from Junior races up to the Half Marathon. You could join us to be part of our Event Team, and play a vital part in the success of the event. Whether you are joining us to gain experience, build up your CV or just to have a great day we really appreciate your support.

Run Bournemouth is one of the largest mass participation events in the region, attracting thousands of runners and spectators. We are currently looking for enthusiastic students to join our Event Team Zone as volunteers and help make this event a success. Volunteering at Run Bournemouth offers students the chance to gain valuable experience, develop new skills, and be part of a large-scale community event.

Opportunities available for volunteers include:

  • Supporting event logistics
  • Assisting runners at start and finish lines
  • Cheer points along the course
  • Helping with race-day registration

Students can sign up for volunteer shifts through our Event Team Zone website, which makes the process straightforward and flexible around their schedules.
